Nowadays, composite restorations are able to mimic the natural dentition, which makes them into a solution capable of solving problems related to shape, size, position and color of the affected teeth. These could be solved with more invasive and expensive ceramic restorations. However, the appropriate technique to get predictable results needs to be learned and developed with a clear understanding of the optical and physical properties of the material.
In this course, we will teach the layering technique, which is based on the use of different types of composites, opaquers and tints. The composite used for this purpose has a color-coordinated system, which allows us to create restorations able to go unnoticed in the oral environment.
