Local anaesthesia is an important part of the daily routines for a dentist. Selecting the appropriate drug will not only improve patient comfort and satisfaction, but also give us enough time to work with confidence and safety. During this seminar all the participants will have the opportunity to review all the hot points about dental anaesthesia, starting with the anatomy and followed by the biochemistry, articaine particular properties, local anaesthesia techniques and its use in medically compromised patients and most common complications. Furthermore some clinical procedures will be showed emphasizing the advantages of a deep and long standing anaesthesia, as well as some delivery protocols and clinical tricks. Dr Pedro Peña is a Medical doctor and a Dentist, he is well trained in oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and devoted his life to Oral Implantology. |
